Delivering the curriculum:

·        To enhance our delivery of the curriculum throughout the school year the children benefit from a wide range of outings and activities

·        Each year our First Class pupils attend the Irish Times 'Music in the Classroom' series in the National Concert Hall

·        Each class has an organised school outing in June every year. We also have a variety of visitors to our school. Our school participates in the Junior Achievement Programme, and each class has a field trip in June with renowned environmentalist Eanna Ní Lamhna. The children have also benefited from a visit from the author Gillian Perdue.

Learning Support/Special Needs:

·        Pupils’ progress is closely monitored in class.

·        Our support teachers provide extra help for pupils who need help with reading.
